Double the Pleasure - Accent Chairs to Die For

I have a thing for using at least two different fabrics when I do custom upholstery on accent chairs for clients or myself. Why the heck not?
An accent chair should never be a yawn moment.  To moi, they should not only help to accent your design, they can even be allowed to steal the show.
Let's take a look at some show stoppers shall we?

Okay, so my heart definitely skipped a beat at the first and last photo.
Talk about some bold fabric choices? Love em. What were your faves? Have you tried this with any of your own accent chairs? Holla.

  2. My favorite chairs are the blue and white with yellow backs. I have not done this in my own home, but I think I should.

  4. I love the idea. I actually have a chair with two different velvet patterns...but it's so subtle that you can't "see" it! :(. I know it's there but not many others.

  5. Always liked this idea especially when the colors/pattern compliments each other.

    1. I think it's safe to say I'm obsessed with the idea. Just always feel like a chair is small enough to go wild and crazy with some mixed patterns, especially if you're afraid to do so otherwise.

  6. I really like this idea but feel its easy to go wrong. I have never done it but am so tempted! The pictured here are all fab!!
