Front Row Seats To The Olympics

Come this Friday, my DVR will be working overtime to make sure I don't miss any of the Olympics must-see events...like King James leading Team USA to another gold medal, Phelps and Lochte battling to reign as the Poseidon of this year's games. And the events that are foremost on the minds of most Jamaicans - will lighting strike twice causing Bolt to break even more world records or will Blake steal his thunder? We're cheering too for all the other athletes set to make history at Olympics 2012.
Sigh, we know we can't be there in person, but that doesn't mean we can't have front row seats. Take a look at these Olympics worthy media rooms.
Be warned, I call dibs on the Barcelona chair in the first image...lol.
The others are just as delightful, take a gander.

Is it just me or doesn't the room just scream Hugh and the The Girls Next Door?  Didn't he have a spinning circular bed?  Don't ask me how I know that...yes, I'm addicted to Reality TV. How did you think I knew about the bed?...LOL

And who says you can't mix an Olympics watching party with a pool party? Talk about killing two birds with one stone...lol

I would gladly accept an invite that includes a chance to hang out in any these rooms. Which one is your favorite? What event are you most pumped to see at this year's Summer Games?

  1. My favorite is the first room with the classic mid-century furnishings, the exquisite millwork detail and the Turner Classic movie on the screen-!

  3. The 2012 Olympic Games are one of the most highly anticipated events on TV. I remember my mom made sure that we watched them whenever they were on growing up. I’ve come to discover that I’m an Olympic junkie and I’m pretty excited for things to get started tomorrow. I’ll be missing most of the games since I’ll be at work but speaking of DVRs, I just upgraded to the Hopper. The Hopper comes with 2 terabytes of space for recording which is fantastic. That’s four times more space than your average DVR. That way I won’t have to clear stuff off of my DVR right away. A Dish co-worker recommended it to me after she tried it for the show Once Upon A Time. I remember going to the 1996 Games in Atlanta and that was amazing! By the way, I love the first and last rooms. Both seem so inviting.

    1. I really hope I get the chance to experience the Olympic games in person very soon. I remember watching the 96 games on TV with my college roommates, so they must have been amazing up close. I already deleted all the old episodes of Burn Notice from my DVR to make space...LOL
