Slowly Being Seduced by Stripes

I hope you all had a great weekend. Sigh...it's back to school week. I don't have any kids but I since I have to pass through at least three school zones on my way to work, this means I have to leave home at least thirty minutes earlier. Can you tell I'm ecstatic?
I wish I had the chance to work from home on a full time basis.I must admit I'm not a fan of Keeping up with the Kardashians,...personally I think Mason and Khloe are the real stars of the show....lol. But, when I saw photos of Kris Jenner's office designed by Brian Patrick Flynn while checking out Jessie's blog Mix and Chic, I have to give credit where is due. The use of stripes in the office space is unexpectedly brilliant. I think that would be the perfect look for my dream home office.

From the look of these photos, I don't think office spaces are the only ones getting all striped up.

Do you think stripes are the way to go? Or are they just too much out of the box for you?

  1. I love stripes, especially in a single color plus white. Horizontal is a great way to update the classic!

  3. I love stripes! I think they are very elegant. I love the second photo. The color combination is beautiful and I like the mix of stripe widths. I love bold statements like these stripes make.

  4. I love the black and white. Classic! With more than two colors, it gets a little tricky. I think you would tire of it.

    1. Patty, it must be the Caribbean influence in me but I love the brighter colors. But I must admit that might get boring quick...lol

  5. Wow those rooms look fantastic! I especially love the last photo with the green! I probably won't do stripes in my own home because it's a little too preppy for my style, but I can definitely appreciate them elsewhere! Great post and happy Monday (despite the longer commute ;) )!

  7. I like the kardashians and yes Khloe is the star. If you ever heard ppl talk, majority say she's thier fav. Anyhoo. Btwn Khloe's house and the Jenners, I dunno which is more fab. The interior design is incredible. I wish MTV cribs still existed so we could see more of it. I find myself replaying scenes just to look at the interior LOL

    1. Say what now? There's no more MTV cribs? Darn, I loved that show too. SMH...LOL. Can you tell that I'm really up on my MTV program schedule? I also think the should bring back House of Style. And yes hands down Khloe is the star of the show..followed by Mason.
