A Kaleidoscopic Feast for the Eyes

After a disgustingly rainy week, I was ecstatic that the sun shined all weekend. I really didn't do much this weekend but sometimes awesome weather, and great friends, can do wonders for the soul.
It's the same feeling I got the moment I saw pictures of Bradford Shellhammer's house, it was love at first sight. His use of color is not only smart and harmonious, but downright breathtaking.
Now, I would be lying if I didn't admit that the thought of living with this much color would scare the bejesus out of me. But something about these images bellows to my adventurous side, urging me to step out of my comfort zone and embrace that colorful side. Take a look and you'll see exactly what I mean.

Bradford co-founded Fab.com in June. An amazing site that has flash sales offering everything from toys for your pets, to furniture and everything in between.

So what's your verdict, too much color? Or do you agree that it's perfectly blended?

  3. Well he has a very clear aesthetic for sure...his house looks exactly like fab.com. I get their emails. Very cool space......My favorite shot is one of the kitchen with the deer head and the plates around it...and the pool too. Great find! thanks for sharing with us.
