The All White Soiree

Labor Day signals the end of summer for our friends up north, and it used to mean the end of wearing white (except for those of us here in Miami and the Caribbean who stroll around town in white all year long). 
But someone finally got smart and now we see that all white parties have finally become an any season event. Just ask Mr. P. Diddy himself who throws a legendary all white affair in the Hamptons every year on Labor Day.
From elegant dinners to raving pool parties and everything in between, these soirees have slowly become the themed party of choice. In fact, Nikki and the hubs even had an all white welcome party when they got married in Negril in November 2010. Here are some white themed soirees that are kinda fab.

Now, I'm not a fan of all white parties because I'm a big klutz, so wearing white to parties is never a good choice for me.  But what do you think, should all white parties only be held in the Summer? Or are you apart of the growing trend that thinks an all white party is great any time of year?
