If you follow me on Instagram you kinda know I'm mildly obsessed with reupholstering chairs. Kinda obsessed with accent chairs in general as I also dished about here.
So, of course I've noticed this trend of beautiful chairs/sofas with wheels. Super cute (said in my Miami Cuban accent) but the functional side of me wants to know how practical are these lovelies? Sure, it must be easier to rearrange your furniture and to scoot closer to someone when you're trying to have a conversation, but doesn't this also mean that you're sliding all over the place if the chair has wheels? Or do they have a locking system in place?
I really love em but have yet to purchase any for clients. If you have one, or have purchased one for a client, can you let me know how they roll? Are the wheels just decorative or can you slide around in these bad boys? Holla. Please.
You know, I've never sat in a chair with those mini castors. I love the look of them. I'd imagine they wouldn't go anywhere since the back legs are typically standard wood legs. But I'd also love to hear more about them from people who have worked with them.
